Artsakh needs investment projects - Karabakh President

STEPANAKERT. - President of Artsakh Bako Sahakyan on Thursday met with senior Vice President of “Izmirlyan” foundation Jacques Sarkissian in Geneva.

The parties discussed initiation and implementation of various programs, informs Presidential press service.

Sahakyan emphasized that in line with humanitarian programs Artsakh also needs investment programs which would have qualitatively different impact on the socio-economic development of the NKR. In this context the sides discussed a number of actual suggestions and projects.

Later that day Sahakyan met with the head of Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) Swiss branch Talin Avagian.

The President stressed AGBU’s substantial contribution to the development of Artsakh and highlighted the Importance of AGBU in terms of strengthening the inter-Armenian ties.
