The London court ruled in Assange's favor he will be able to continue to challenge the decision to extradite him to the US in British courts.
The court also gave the US government three weeks to provide assurances that Assange's rights at trial would be respected and that he would not face the death penalty.
London's High Court has set the next hearing in Assange's case for 20 May if the parties file the necessary documents.
