Measures have been taken to resume Azerbaijan's diplomatic activity in Iran. Official representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Nasser Kanaani, said Iran reported.

He added that "good talks" have been held at the level of the presidents of the two sides.

"There is a general opinion that other areas of cooperation, including economic growth, political and diplomatic cooperation, between the two countries need to be intensified," Kanaani said.
