Turkish Head of State Abdullah Gul, who is currently in London on the invitation of Queen Elizabeth II, responded to the questions by Turkish journalists.

And in response to the question about the Armenian-Turkish protocols, the president argued that difficult problems are not solved in one step, Turkish IHA News Agency reported.    

“The Armenian-Turkish relations are frozen so much that they do not melt by blowing [on them]. The time of the signing of the protocols was the good period, but, in my view, there were unapproved things. Everyone in the region has its interests in this,” Gul stated, stressing that the Armenian-Turkish protocols have not yet fully died.
