Armenian Germush (Kamurj) village in Urfa province (Urkhan Aedesius) in Turkey and the village church are declared to be a touristic center.

The local manager of tourism and culture in Urfa Selami Yildiz mentioned that it has been done in order to develop tourism in Urfa. The manager said that beside the church which is 10 kilometers away from the city Urfa all the necessary conditions will be provided.

“Currently the reconstruction project of the church is being studied. After the government confirms the project we shall look for financial support,” the manager said.
