Armenian-American Alice Petrossian has been named to the Los Angeles County Commission for Women.

Petrossian, has been a prominent figure in Pasadena and Glendale through various organizations, including the Armenian Education Foundation, Glendale News-Press reported.

The county Commission for Women works with the Board of Supervisors and community organizations “on key policy decisions affecting the lives and well-being of women,” says the announcement.
