YEREVAN. – Aggressive statements by the Azerbaijani high ranking officials addressed to the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs prove the complete failure of Azerbaijani diplomacy on Karabakh issue, said spokesperson for ruling Republican parliamentary group Gagik Melikyan.

 “Azerbaijan joined the Tuesday statement expressing gratitude to the co-chairing states. On the next day they openly expressed dissatisfaction with their work. Azerbaijani MFA and the President’s administration apparently have serious disagreements regarding Karabakh conflict settlement.

Representatives of the Presidential administration have expressed different viewpoints regarding mediators’ work during the last three days. It proves that Baku is finally confused with the process of settlement and is unable even to form a common position at least for public,” Melikyan told the journalists.
