YEREVAN. - December 10 marks 20th anniversary of referendum on independence of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR).

Back in 1991 referendum on independence was held in Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Region when 99.8% of citizens voted “for” independence.

In 2006, in 15 anniversary of independence, nation-wide referendum was held to approve the draft bill of NKR’s first Constitution.
