BRUSSELS. – An Armenian woman saved life of a Belgian family in Menen province, Belgium, newspapers reported on Thursday.

The accident occurred on Thursday early in the morning when one of the houses was burning. The landlady asked the help of the neighbors to save her four underage children. No one responded but an Armenian Verzhine Hakobyan.

The Armenian woman first called the fire service then rushed to help her neighbor. The Armenians sheltered the Belgian family till their relatives arrived.

Children were saved. Currently they are hospitalized. The house burned completely. Reasons of the fire are being clarified. 

To note, all the central newspapers wrote on the accident, stating that Belgian migration policy should not compare Armenians with radical Muslims.
