YEREVAN. – One US Dollar’s exchange rate against the Armenian Dram (AMD) constituted AMD 382.50 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Tuesday. The dram’s exchange rate is relatively stable in recent days, albeit the volume of trade has sharply increased.  

$3.1 million were sold at the stock exchange on Tuesday.

The Central Bank of Armenia practically is not intervening in the exchange rate, in recent weeks, and it is refraining from trading foreign currency at the stock exchange. 

The situation is relatively stable in Armenia’s cash foreign currency market, too. The exchange offices currently purchase $1 at a maximum of AMD 381, and sell at AMD 383 or AMD 384.
