YEREVAN. - Armenia’s Vice Premier, Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan will not break with tradition and will spend New Year Eve with his family.

“I am actively participating in New Year preparations, except for cooking meals. I have not chosen presents yet as my children are writing letters to Santa and have not made ‘final decision’,” he told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Last year the Minister’s family established a new tradition deciding to choose active rest.

“My children and I were taking ski lessons. I think we will try to improve our skills this year. As to Christmas day, we will attend one of the churches in the country,” he said.

The Minister considers you must make a wish at New Year night for it to come true.

“I cannot tell about my wishes beforehand. I only wish all my relatives were healthy,” he said.
