During the Women’s World Team Chess Championships in Turkey China’s team ranked first place, although China lost against Ukraine (1.5-2.5) in the pre-final round, but so did India and thus lost the chance of becoming champion too.

Armenia’s team beat Vietnam on the 8th round by a sore of 2.5-1.5 and so ranked 6th place. Elina Danielyan and Lilit Mrtchyan ended their matches with victories. Maria Kursova lost her match and Nelly Aghinyan tied hers.
