French Senate has not approved a proposal to recognize the bill criminalizing genocide unreasonable, in other words, the bill is reasonable.

Armenian News-NEWS.am reported that about an hour ago Senate also refused to approve proposal to reject genocide bill. The proposal was initiated by the Rapparteur from Commission on Law Jean Pierre Sueur. However, the Communist and Socialist parliamentary groups opposed the proposal on inadmissibility of the bill before the voting.
