U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta suggests that the authorities of Pakistan knew about the location of Osama bin Laden.

According to the sources of U.S. intelligence, Pakistan’s military helicopters were flying over the house where number one terrorist was hiding.

Panetta said, being concerned that Pakistan’s leadership knows the location of bin Laden, American special services didn’t inform Islamabad about the operation, ITAR-TASS reports.

Osama bin Laden was killed in Pakistan on May 2, 2011 by a military unit of the U.S. Special Forces.
