YEREVAN. – Armenian army Seargant Rubik Mikaelyan performed 7,500 sit-ups and will be registered in the Guinness Book of World Records.

He performed the record on the Day of Armenian Armed Forces 20th anniversary on Saturday breaking own previous record (6,500 sit-ups).

Another three Armenians will also struggle for the record, head of registration committee Vardan Tovmasyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am adding that Mikaelyan is getting prepared to improve own record by reaching the sit-ups up to 10,000.

Mikaelyan dedicated his record to the 20th anniversary of the Armenian Armed Forces.
