YEREVAN. -It is already pointless to talk about snap parliamentary elections but snap presidential elections remain on the agenda of Armenian National Congress (ANC), the coordinator of parliamentary opposition ANC Levon Zurabyan announced during a press conference on Monday.

According to him, after the press conference ANC will hold a political consultation during which ANC’s attitude towards elections lists will be discussed.

Zurabyan mentioned that some media representatives have been recently spreading false information about ANC’s political consultations claiming that money offers are being discussed.

“I warn you, if this continues we will name the information agencies that spread false information,” the ANC coordinator said.

He also mentioned that it is difficult to come upon an agreement on the lists as there are 18 parties included. According to him, the powers hope that they will not come upon an agreement but ANC will disappoint them.

“Levon Ter-Petrosyan should top the list, but I can’t make any official statements yet as nothing has been discussed so far,” Zurabyan concluded.
