Armenian ‘Nightmare’ may fight against Victor Ortiz

15:09, 01.02.2012 Region: World News

Armenian WBC light-middleweight contender Vanes (nicknamed Nightmare) Martirosyan, 25, having no losses (31-0) and representing the U.S. may have fight against Victor Ortiz.

Ortiz should have fought with Andre Berto on Feb. 11, however, the latter got injured bicep and was forced to withdraw.

“I would step in right now if they asked me for Berto in a heartbeat. Victor knows what happens when I hit him and I’ll even go down to 147,” Martirosyan said, boxingscene.com reports.
