STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army conscript Marat Dimaksyan, 20, received a fatal gunshot wound, on Sunday at 7:20 p.m., at a military position at the line of contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces.

The conscript lost his life en route to military hospital, NKR Defense Army Press Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

An investigation is launched into the incident.
