YEREVAN. – A magnitude 2.4 tremor was registered in Armenia, on Monday at 7:47 a.m. local time, 17 km northeast of Artashat city.  

The earthquake measured magnitude 3 at the epicenter, the Ministry of Emergency Situations informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.    

The seismic activity’s hypocenter was 5 meters beneath the surface.
