YEREVAN. – The Central Bank (CB) of Armenia forecasts a 3.1-4.8-percent economic growth for the country in 2012, reports CB’s monetary policy program for the first quarter of 2012.      

According to the Bank, there will be an industrial growth, but it will not be in double digits. For the most part, this growth will be secured by the mining industry, metallurgy, food and beverage production, diamond production, and energy production.   

And a small growth is expected in the construction sector, services, and agriculture.
