A bomb previously announced to be discovered near the Israeli Embassy in Georgia was found in a vehicle belonging to an Embassy employee, said representative of the Georgian internal ministry Shota Khizanishvili.

“The owner of the vehicle is a citizen of Georgia. He works as driver in the embassy but the vehicle in which the bomb was discovered belonged to Khachaturyan, not the embassy. The vehicle is his personal property,” said Khizanishvili, Gruziya-Online informs.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, Roman Khachaturyan, the driver of Israeli Ambassador to Georgia Itskhak Gerberg, called police after he noticed a black plastic bag under the vehicle. The sappers managed to deactivate a grenade found in the bag.
