YEREVAN. – The 53-year-old taxi driver was found dead in his Yerevan apartment at 10.30 a.m. on February 11.

The ambulance service reported about the case, the press service of the Armenian Police imformed the reporter of Armenian News-NEWS.am. The operative group that had gone to the scene discovered violence signs on the corpse which indicates that the man was murdered.

During the investigation it came out that on the eve of the murder the driver had an argument with Arthur Khachatryan, 45, who has been convicted three times previously and is better known as ‘Fritz’.

On that same day Khachatryan was detained with the suspicion of having committed the murder. He accepted his guilt.

To mention, Matevosyan was a taxi driver.

A criminal case has been launched, Khahatryan is detained, investigation is underway.
