YEREVAN.– MP from ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Rafik Petrosyan has the right to express his opinion, but the bill on state of emergency can hardly cause discrepancies, RPA MP Artak Davtyan said on Thursday commenting on his co-party member’s opinion on the bill.

“I respect Petrosyan’s opinion, including as an expert, but he is not an expert of constitutional rights,” Davtyan said adding concern about anti-social nature of the bill is unavailing.

To note, the bill allows using the Army in case of public disorders during the emergency situations. In this case power of the army units will not differ from that of policemen.
