Bangladeshis and Pakistanis, trying to illegally cross Turkish-Greek border, opened fire at the Greek border guards when they noticed them. 

The border guards opened retaliatory fire but the group managed to return to the territory of Turkey, Milliyet reports. The group consisting of Bangladeshi and Pakistani was trying to cross the Maritsa river and move to Greece.

Two refugees were injured as a result of the clash. Turkish police arrested the group of refugees, including six Pakistanis and 19 Bangladeshis.
