KRASNODAR. - Armenian blogger Michael Abrahamyan organized a single picket in front of Krasnodar’s regional administration against the possible fourth appointment of Alexander Tkachev as governor.

The demonstrator was holding a poster reading ‘Tkachev! Get Rest’.

As the Armenian paper in Russia Yerkramas informs, the picket started at 2.00 p.m. and lasted about one hour. During the event police agents approached the blogger and took his passport. The agents refused to show documents and announced that the blogger prevents their work. Abrahamyan’s passport was only returned a long time after the event.

To note, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev nominated the Governor of Krasnodar Alexander Tkachev and the Legislative Council appointed him as governor of Krasnodar for the 4th time.
