‘Grandma's Tattoos’ movie on the Armenian Genocide will be screened during the Filmor Women's Film Festival on Mar. 10-18 in Istanbul.

The organizers are pressed to remove the movie from the festival, but they are insistent and announce the movie will be definitely screened.

‘Grandma's Tattoos’ will be screened at the French Culture house in Istanbul on Thursday and Friday.

To note, the movie by Suzanne Khardalian has been screened in many channels all over the world, including Al Jazeera. It describes how the director’s grandmother has been kidnapped at the childhood, tattooed like cattle and kept in slavery in Turkey. Thousands of Armenian children and teenage girls were kidnapped, tattooed and undergone violence like her grandma in those years in Turkey.
