YEREVAN.- The Republican Party of Armenia has submitted a 253-member election list to the Central Electoral Commission.

The list is headed by incumbent President Sezh Sargsyan, followed by former Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan, Premier Tigran Sargsyan, Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, incumbent Speaker Samvel Nikoyan and others.

RPA has also nominated NA MP candidates with the majority election system in 33 electoral districts.

The Republican Party of Armenia will run in the parliamentary elections under its new slogan: “Let us believe, so we can make a change!”

The Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) is a ruling conservative party in Armenia founded in 1990 after country’s independence. Incumbent president Serzh Sargsyan is the chairman of RPA board.
