JERMUK. - Wrong chemical substance against mosquitoes was used in Jermuk, Armenia, Control Chamber reports concerning Armenian Ministry of Agriculture’s expenditures of the state budget.

Investigation showed that 1,300 liters of toxic chemicals diazonium-600 were purchased by private entrepreneur Aghavni Chilyan. The source selling the chemicals did not have license and the chemical is not registered in the state register of veterinary drugs.

This pesticide was sprayed in open space in Jermuk, while the use of this material in open areas is prohibited.
