YEREVAN. – Haykakan Zhamanak daily has learned that, at the invitation of Artak Zakaryan, Chairman of the Armenia National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, Richard Henry Czarnecki, Vice-President of the European Parliament, will arrive in Armenia on Friday, the daily reported.

“The Armenia authorities, using certain connections, are trying to maintain relations with Europe after [the country’s forthcoming] accession to the [Russia-led] Eurasian Economic Union, and this visit is within this framework,” Haykakan Zhamanak wrote.
