YEREVAN. – Non-pro-government Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) National Assembly (PAP NA) Faction Secretary Naira Zohrabyan, PAP NA Faction member Vahe Hovhannisyan, and opposition Armenian National Congress NA Faction Head Levon Zurabyan will not be participating in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Winter Session, which is slated from January 26 to 30, Zhoghovurd daily reported.

“Zhoghovurd has learned that they have declined from participating in the PACE session for the reason of having health-related problems. 

“[So,] this time NA Deputy Speaker Hermine Naghdalyan—who is head of the [Armenian parliamentary] delegation [to the PACE]—, RPA [i.e., the ruling Republican Party of Armenia] NA Faction members Arpine Hovhannisyan and Naira Karapetyan, [opposition] RLP [Orinats Yerkir (Rule of Law) Party] NA Faction Secretary Mher Shahgeldyan, and ARF [Dashnaktsutyun Party] NA Faction Head Armen Rustamyan will travel to Strasbourg [, France,] in the PACE delegation,” Zhoghovurd wrote.
