YEREVAN. – According to well-informed sources, an agreement has been reached between opposition Armenian National Congress Party Chairman, First President Levon Ter-Petrosyan and non-pro-government Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) Chairman Gagik Tsarukyan, Haykakan Zhamanak daily reported.

“Accordingly, ‘after the change in power,’ Tsarukyan is to become President, and Ter-Petrosyan, the NA [i.e. the National Assembly] Speaker.

“We were also informed yesterday [, Friday,] who Ter-Petrosyan means by writing, ‘A small coterie of mischief-makers working within the PAP,’ in his article entitled, ‘The Debt of My Heart.’

“According to our sources, the ‘coterie’ members are NA MPs Vahe Hovhannisyan and Stepan Margaryan as well as 7or website editor Andranik Tevanyan and Zham.am website editor Yervand Bozoyan,” Haykakan Zhamanak wrote.
