YEREVAN. – The chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of Russia, Sergey Naryshkin, was “annoyed” during his recent visit to Armenia, Hraparak daily reported.
“[Armenian] NA [i.e. National Assembly] President Galust Sahakyan did not participate in the second part of a roundtable discussion organized within the framework of the ‘Eurasian Economic Prospects’ international conference organized along the lines of his visit.
“In the first part of the discussion, the NA President, the Prime Minister, and Naryshkin were sitting at the chairmanship.
“But Galust Sahakyan did not participate in the continuation [following the break]. In his stead, NA Vice President Hermine Naghdalyan sat at the chairmanship beside Naryshkin. They say Naryshkin was offended by this treatment,” Hraparak wrote.
