“According to a report which the RA National Statistical Service issued, as of March 31, our state foreign debt made up 3 billion and 925 million dollars. About 3.5 billion dollars from that is the government debt, [and] the 431 million dollars are that of the Central Bank.

“Armenia’s gross foreign debt—also including the debts of the organization—currently makes up 8.5 billion dollars, or more than 80 percent of the [country’s] GDP,” Haykakan Zhamanak wrote.
