YEREVAN. – Despite the crisis situation in Ukraine, the “affairs” of Armenia’s ambassador to that country, Andranik Manukyan, are just wonderful, reported Haykakan Zhamanak daily.

“As we learn from the website of the Ethics Committee of Senior Officials, last year Andranik Manukyan has lent 3.5 million [US] dollars, money with interest rate, from whose interests he received a 118 thousand-dollar income.

“The ambassador also declared 345 million [Armenian] drams [approx. $723,230], 3.5 million dollars (unrelated to the lending), and 380 thousand euro funds. A total of approximately 4.7 million dollars.

“The ambassador’s wife, Anahit Manukyan, declared 12 million drams [approx. $25,155] and 102 thousand US dollars last year,” wrote Haykakan Zhamanak.
