YEREVAN. – At this point, ruling Republican Party of Armenia MP Arpine Hovhannisyan is the most likely candidate as the new Minister of Justice, reported Hraparak daily.

“The upper chains of the authorities believe that now, at the threshold of constitutional reforms, there is no need to bring a person from outside to the ministry, especially after such a shady dismissal [of the previous minister].

“Appointment of the Minister of Justice is delayed, since [President] Serzh Sargsyan is abroad, he will return next week, and the appointment will be made by September,” wrote Hraparak.
