YEREVAN. – The Armenian authorities plan to hold an unprecedented parade on the 25th anniversary of Armenia’s independence, which will be celebrated on September 21, and the preparations are already underway, according to Hraparak daily.
“There are rumors that well-known ‘people’ will arrive in Armenia within the framework of the 25th anniversary.
“To remind that a presentable military parade was held in Armenia five years ago, too, which, however, was ‘spoiled’ when soldiers of the Russian army appeared at the square [i.e. the Republic Square in downtown capital city Yerevan], and the Russian flag was waved,” wrote Hraparak.
