YEREVAN. – Representatives of the US Department of State had a fairly unpleasant conversation with the representatives of ARF Dashnaktsutyun’s Armenian Cause Committee of the United States, Aravot daily writes.  

“As our source informs, the Americans made the Dashnaktsutyun members plainly understand that the activities of the ARF’s Armenia structure is unacceptable for them. The Americans seriously suspect that some ARF elite wishes [Armenia’s previous President Robert] Kocharyan’s return to public politics, which is an undesirable course of event for them. They threatened the representatives of the Armenian Cause Committee that if ARF continues its pro-Kocharyan policy, they will no longer turn a blind eye to the ‘many facts’ that they know,” Aravot writes.
