Hraparak newspaper of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes as follows: Although [PM] Nikol Pashinyan insisted for several hours yesterday in the parliament his position on handing over the four settlements of Tavush [Province] to Azerbaijan; in other words, he assumed the role of an employee of the cadastre of Azerbaijan, he was waving the famous model of the RA map, trying for the umpteenth time to present that they are Azerbaijani territories as they have an Azerbaijani name, but his "arguments" were not convincing even for the [parliament ruling majority] CC [(Civil Contract) faction] members.

The government legislators are waiting for the upcoming closed meeting with Pashinyan, which will most likely take place in the next few days. And before this, the CC members expressed, in private conversations, their disagreement in connection with the unilateral concessions and will try to find out in the closed meeting with Pashinyan “and what we will get in exchange for the four settlements.”

(…). The ruling team has doubts that if they handed over Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)] and digested [it], it will be difficult in the case of Armenia.

By the way, at the last session of the Security Council, Nikol Pashinyan informed that we need to hand over the lands of Tavush, but instead, Azerbaijan will give several hundred hectares in Tavush back to us.

In fact, even in the last month, something has changed and Azerbaijan has reneged on its obligation.
