Hraparak: Prosperous Armenia Party leader to remain Security Council member
June 12, 2012YEREVAN. – As expected, Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) Chairman Gagik Tsarukyan saw off and now welcomed President Serzh Sargsyan, who returned from Vietnam, Hraparak daily writes.
“Those in the PAP find that this is conditioned by the fact that Tsarukyan is a Security Council (SC) member.
Incidentally, according to well-informed sources, Tsarukyan will remain [Armenian National Olympic Committee] ANOC and SC member alike. And unlike the [ARF] Dashnaktsutyun [Party], which during the [National Assembly] NA session on June 20 will announce that the ARF is an opposition, the PAP will not make such statement,” Hraparak writes.
