YEREVAN. – “An interesting situation is created in the world for small countries. And Armenia, too, can reap many benefits, if a smart policy is conducted. Armenia should use the full potential of the [Armenian] Diaspora, it should become the homeland of each and every Armenian. [But] Unfortunately, there are no practical steps [taken] in that direction in Armenia,” former PM Armen Sargsyan told Aravot daily.

“Sargsyan was attending the “Dialogue of Civilizations” international conference being held in the Greek island of Rhodes. Armen Sargsyan said the 21st century is not that bad. ‘I have lived in the 20th century and believe that the 21st century is better for living.’ [And] So as to surmount the postindustrial problems, he recommended living with the awareness that God exists and placing ethical values at the basis of each step,” Aravot writes.
