YEREVAN. – Armenian Premier Tigran Sargsyan has been offered the post of First Vice President of the Russian Federation (RF) Central Bank, Aravot daily reports. 

“Specifically, several huge bankers, [and] businessmen, including the PM’s [university] classmate, Chairman [Alexey] Miller of the [Board of Directors of Russian energy] Gazprom Company, President Andrey Kostin of the CIS Finance and Banking Council, and others are lobbying in the RF for Tigran Sargsyan. 

According to our information, RF PM Dmitry Medvedev personally made such proposal to Premier Sargsyan during the meeting held in Yalta[, Ukraine],” Aravot writes.
