YEREVAN. – The Russian Federation Armed Forces military unit comprising 500 people, who are to be added to the personnel of the 102nd Russian military base stationed in Armenia’s City of Gyumri, arrived in the city on Tuesday, Haykakan Zhamanak daily reports.  

“[But] this is solely the first group of the additions and, overall, around one thousand soldiers are expected to arrive in Gyumri.  

“To note, they will reside in the 8th District located in Gyumri,” Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
