YEREVAN. – The collaboration between the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANCP) and the non-pro-government Prosperous Armenia (PAP) Parties has a peculiarity, Zhoghovurd daily reports.

“Even though the two political forces cooperate with one another quite closely in the past one and a half to two years, specifically in the parliamentary format, the party leaders have ‘not seen’ one another’s ‘face.’

“[ANCP Chairman and Armenia’s First President] Levon Ter-Petrosyan and [PAP Chairman and businessman] Gagik Tsarukyan have never met in person all this time.

“Zhoghovurd daily asked ANC [National Assembly] Faction leader [and ANCP Vice-Chairman] Levon Zurabyan how [this is possible].

‘“The important thing is that the collaboration is successful,’ he responded,” Zhoghovurd writes.
