YEREVAN. – On Monday morning, when Gagik Tsarukyan had come to the parliament, the airplane, which was taking the Armenian Olympians—“led by” National Olympic Committee of Armenia (ARMNOC) Secretary  Hrachya Rostomyan—to Sochi, Russia, was preparing for take off at the same hour, Hraparak daily reports.   

“First and foremost, the latter [Rostomyan] was traveling to Sochi so that there would be someone from Armenia who will meet our ‘kings’ on the Sochi ‘ground.’   

“The thing is that this time [Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) Chairman, business tycoon, MP] NSC [i.e., National Security Council] member Gagik Tsarukyan will not see off the ‘dear President,’ but rather he will fly to Sochi in the same plane with him, seated next to him, to attend the [official opening of the Winter] Olympics, as ARMNOC President, to encourage our team.    

“The flight will take place on [Thursday,] February 6,” Hraparak writes.
