YEREVAN. – The Armenian citizens who hold diplomatic passports may soon enter Peru without visas, Haykakan Zhamanak daily reported.

“The Armenian MFA introduced to the agenda of the government session on [Thursday,] March 27, the draft for the signing of the agreement, between the Governments of Armenia and Peru, on the lifting of the visa requirement for the holders of diplomatic passports [of the two countries].

“[Armenia Foreign Affairs] Minister Edward Nalbandian conditioned the expediency of signing the document on the development and strengthening of friendly and cooperative relations between Armenia and Peru, especially since the [two] parties do not have diplomatic representations in the territory of one another’s states,” Haykakan Zhamanak wrote.
