YEREVAN. – Initially not being a tool for the policy of isolating Russia, Georgia’s, Ukraine’s and Moldova’s signing—in Brussels on Friday—of the EU Association Agreement, however, has also taken on such an importance, Zhamanak daily reported.  

“Therefore when we discuss Armenia’s place in the new situation, we also need to pay attention to the meaning of isolating.   

“What should, or what is left to do for, Armenia in this case? Basically becoming an attachment of the Russian policy, Armenia has put itself in this frame of isolation. And even if the West is considering pulling Armenia out of the frame of isolation, this becomes impossible under the conditions of the present-day policy.   

“Russia will not allow and, in terms of Armenia, it will respond much more aggressively to such attempts,” Zhamanak daily reported.
