YEREVAN. – The “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund’s Telethon 2014 fundraising will aim at the complete construction of the Vardenis-Martakert motorway, Zhamanak daily reported.

“The total length of the road is 116 km, and the Armenian government has provided the amount for [the construction of] about 14 km.  

‘“Basically, it’s about the remaining 102 km,’ Fund Executive Director Ara Vardanyan informed us adding that, at the meeting of its Board of Trustees two years ago, the fund confirmed the [construction of the] Vardenis-Martakert motorway as main theme of the fundraising,” Zhamanak wrote.
