YEREVAN. – Usually people take care of pets, but this is the opposite in the case of Mimi, Aravot daily reported.
“This smart dog walks around all day [in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan] with a basket of flowers in its mouth, and takes care of its master’s livelihood; being photographed with Mimi costs 200-500 drams [approx. $0.49-$1.23].
“The owner of this dog has even polished Mimi’s nails with red lacquer to make it more attractive; he says because Mimi is a ‘glamor’ girl.
“To our remark that he is exploiting the dog, Mimi’s owner says: ‘I’m not exploiting [it]. Then let the state give me a job, and I would not make it work,’” Aravot wrote.
