YEREVAN. – According to official data, living in Armenia has gotten expensive by more than 20 percent over the past four years, Chorrord Ishkhanutyun daily reported.
“According to the NSS [i.e., the National Statistical Service] report, inflation stood at 20.6 percent, as compared to 2010. And inflation reached 1.3 percent this year, as compared to November last year.
“Incidentally, the recent days’ inflation, as a result of the sharp devaluation of the dram [, the Armenian national currency], is not included here.
“It is not difficult to assume that the ‘picture’ will be sadder come December,” Chorrord Ishkhanutyun wrote.
