GYUMRI. – Armenian MP candidate, deputy parliament speaker and deputy chairman of Prosperous Armenia Party Samvel Balasanyan distributed antennas before the pre-election campaign started. A PAP headquarter in Gyumri confirmed this information mentioning that the antennas do not have anything to do with the elections, as they are donations from Balasanyan Family foundation.

A member of the PAP headquarters told Armenian News-NEWS.am, that the Balasanyan family has a foundation and they have been helping people for a long time.

To the question why they distributed particularly receivers, he mentioned that they help children learn English and keep them away from the streets.

He also mentioned that Balasanyan demanded nothing in return for the antennas, passport details were not taken, the antennas were handed out to families in need.
